Intermediate Coating with Color and Powder

Colored powder intermediate coating, as the name suggests, has colors and contains powders. It can provide multiple color choices, unlike some ordinary coatings that are only a single gray or colorless transparent state. This allows for the creation of colors that match the surrounding environment and conform to specific decorative styles based on overall design requirements during floor coating, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and personalization of the floor.

Due to the presence of powder, colored powder coating has excellent filling performance. It can effectively fill the small pores, pits, and other uneven areas on the surface of the base layer, making the surface of the base layer smoother and creating favorable conditions for subsequent topcoat construction.

Colored powder intermediate coating not only increases the contact area between the base layer and the coating by filling the pores of the base layer, but also forms good chemical bonding or mechanical interlocking between its own components and the base layer and topcoat, thereby significantly enhancing the adhesion of the entire floor coating system. This helps prevent subsequent peeling and detachment of the topcoat, ensuring the durability and stability of the floor coating.

Compared to some colorless and transparent intermediate coatings, colored powder intermediate coatings have a certain degree of coverage due to their color and powder content. When there are slight stains, color spots, or uneven colors on the surface of the base layer, colored powder coating can cover them to a certain extent, making the final floor surface more uniform and consistent, and improving the overall visual effect.
