Fiberglass cloth for vinyl floor plays an important role in improving the quality and performance of ethylene based flooring by enhancing bonding strength, preventing crack propagation, improving strength and wear resistance, and enhancing chemical resistance.
Ethylene base construction is usually carried out on the surface of concrete or other base layers. There may be some fine pores, unevenness or dust on the surface of the base layer, which will affect the bonding effect between the subsequent floor coating and the base layer. Fiberglass cloth for vinyl floor has a certain roughness and a large specific surface area. After being laid on the base layer, its fiber structure can be embedded in the pores of the base layer. At the same time, the floor coating can penetrate well into the fiber gaps of the fiberglass cloth during the construction process. After the coating solidifies, it forms many "anchoring points", greatly enhancing the mechanical biting force between the floor coating and the base layer, making the entire floor system more firmly bonded to the base layer, effectively preventing poor bonding problems such as peeling and detachment of the floor coating.
Fiberglass cloth for vinyl floor itself has a certain strength. In the construction of vinyl flooring, when the floor coating is fully combined with the fiberglass cloth, a composite structure is formed. This composite structure allows the fiberglass cloth to share some of the stress when the floor is subjected to external forces such as personnel walking, vehicle driving, equipment handling, etc., improving the overall bearing capacity and deformation resistance of the floor.
