‌The main components of curing agents include amine compounds, acid anhydrides, phenolic resins, etc. ‌These ingredients play a cross-linking role in the resin, plastic, adhesive and coating industries, creating chemical bonds between polymer molecules to enhance the performance of the material. ‌

The mechanism of action of the curing agent is to cause irreversible changes in the thermosetting resin to form strong chemical bonds through chemical reactions, such as condensation, ring closing, addition or catalytic reactions. Different types of curing agents have a significant impact on the mechanical properties, heat resistance, water resistance and corrosion resistance of the cured product.

In practical applications, curing agents are often used in adhesives, coatings and castables to ensure that these materials can cure and achieve the required physical and chemical properties. For example, concrete seal hardener is a material composed of inorganic substances, chemically active substances and silica compounds. It improves the hardness, wear resistance and impermeability of concrete by penetrating and reacting with the chemical components in concrete.
